GOOSE CREEK, S.C. — A 17-year-old male has been charged as an adult following a shooting Thursday afternoon that left two people injured at a home on North Pandora Drive, according to the Goose Creek Police Department.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 12:07 p.m. on January 15 and found Arianna Epps suffering from a gunshot wound. Epps told police she had been shot by her cousin, the 17-year-old suspect, who had fled the scene. Emergency medical services transported her to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators say the shooting stemmed from an altercation between the juvenile suspect and another individual, Cameron Dixon. Epps reportedly tried to intervene, but the situation escalated into an exchange of gunfire. Epps was shot in the arm, Dixon was grazed by a bullet, and the juvenile suspect later appeared at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Police recovered multiple shell casings inside the residence and received conflicting statements from witnesses. The juvenile suspect is now in custody and faces two counts of Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, along with one count of robbery.
