MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — A Powerball ticket sold in Moncks Corner is now worth $2 million after matching all five white ball numbers with the PowerPlay option in Saturday night’s drawing, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased at Parkers #70, located at 115 S. Highway 52. The numbers drawn on January 17 were 5, 8, 27, 49, and 57, with Powerball 14.
Lottery officials say more than 14,000 players across South Carolina won prizes in the same drawing, ranging from $4 to the $2 million top prize claimed in Berkeley County.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. Details on how to claim winnings are available through the South Carolina Education Lottery.
