
GOOSE CREEK, S.C. — A new breakfast-and-lunch option officially opened its doors Monday morning in Goose Creek. Sunrise Bistro then marked its grand opening the following day at 216 St. James Avenue.
City leaders, including Mayor Greg Habib and members of Goose Creek City Council, joined the restaurant’s owners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming the bistro to the community. City officials highlighted the restaurant’s all-day breakfast menu alongside sandwiches, salads and other diner-style offerings.

In a statement shared on social media, Sunrise Bistro thanked the City of Goose Creek for its support, calling the opening a milestone and expressing appreciation for what it described as a warm reception from local residents.

According to the restaurant’s website, Sunrise Bistro is designed as a traditional diner-style space, serving made-to-order breakfasts alongside lunch options in a casual setting meant to cater to early-morning customers as well as weekend diners. The Goose Creek location joins other Sunrise Bistro restaurants already operating in Mount Pleasant, Johns Island, Summerville and Aiken.

City officials said the addition of Sunrise Bistro reflects continued growth in Goose Creek’s dining scene and emphasized the importance of welcoming locally focused businesses to the area.
The Goose Creek location is now open to the public, with menus available online through the restaurant’s website.
