Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Goose Creek Jimmy John’s Opening

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. — A new sandwich shop is officially opening in Goose Creek. City leaders gathered Tuesday afternoon to welcome the latest business to the growing Carnes Crossroads area.

Mayor Greg Habib and members of city council celebrated the opening of a new Jimmy John’s location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2463 N. Main Street in the Uptown at Carnes Crossroads development.

The restaurant’s official grand opening is set for Wednesday, Feb. 18, and the celebration comes with a major promotion. The first 100 customers through the doors starting at 11 a.m. will receive free sandwiches for a year, according to the city’s announcement.

The restaurant is yet another sign of continued growth and investment in the Uptown district, which has seen a steady influx of new businesses and dining options in recent years.
