Organizers say the event is designed to make preventative care more accessible, particularly for families who may face barriers to routine medical services.
Free screenings and support
Attendees will be able to take advantage of free health screenings and heart-healthy counseling, giving participants an opportunity to better understand their cardiovascular health and risk factors.
In addition, the Lowcountry Food Bank will be on-site, providing resources to support families facing food insecurity — a factor often linked to long-term health outcomes.

Giveaways aimed at healthier living
The event will also include free giveaways focused on promoting heart health, including:
- Pedometers to encourage daily physical activity
- Pulse oximeters for monitoring oxygen levels
- Heart-healthy recipes and educational materials
Organizers say these tools are intended to help residents continue healthy habits long after the event ends.

Open to the entire community
The event is open to all ages, making it a family-friendly opportunity for residents across Berkeley County — particularly those in and around St. Stephen — to access free resources in a welcoming environment.
With heart disease remaining a leading cause of death nationwide, events like this aim to bring awareness, education, and preventative care directly into local communities.
