MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Buckets of oysters, live music and the smell of Lowcountry cooking filled the air Saturday as crowds gathered at Old Santee Canal Park for the annual Shuckin’ in the Park Oyster Roast, one of Berkeley County’s most popular springtime traditions. The family-friendly event featured fresh oysters, food trucks, music and activities for kids as residents and visitors spent the afternoon celebrating a classic Lowcountry pastime.
