GOOSE CREEK, S.C. — Residents in Goose Creek will have multiple opportunities this April to hear directly from city leaders as Mayor Greg Habib brings back his “Creek Conversations” town hall series for 2026.
The community meetings are designed to give residents updates on the city’s growth while also creating space for open dialogue. Each session is expected to last about an hour and will include time for questions, feedback and discussion with city officials.

In addition to the mayor, department heads from across the city will attend to answer questions and address concerns from residents.
The first meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, at the Brick Hope Plantation Clubhouse on Mayfield Drive. Additional meetings will be held throughout the month at locations across Goose Creek, giving residents several chances to attend the session that best fits their schedule.

Upcoming meetings include:
- April 16 at Nexus Pointe Church on Red Bank Road, co-hosted by the city’s Latin Advisory Committee
- April 23 at Northwood Church in the Carnes Crossroads area
- April 30 at the Planters Walk Clubhouse in Crowfield
City officials say the goal of the series is to strengthen communication between residents and local government, while keeping the community informed about ongoing development and future plans.
Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussions as Goose Creek continues to grow.
