22-Month-Old Child Drowns In St. Stephen Pond

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Bill Salisbury, on Thursday 22- month-old Caden Burden of St. Stephen wandered away from his home.

The coroner said his body was eventually discovered in a nearby pond.

Salisbury said he was rushed to the hospital where he died.  

An autopsy will be conducted and more information will follow. 

The death is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner and St. Stephen Police Dept.
