The discussion will feature speakers from some of the stateโs top political consulting firms, including Walter Whetsell from Starboard Communications and Andrew Boucher from RightVoter.
R.J May III, executive director of the S.C. Club for Growth, said Thursday:
The liberal Republican establishment has disappointed the people of South Carolina. Once again, they have failed to follow through on their promises.
The people of the Lowcountry were told they would have a campaign school, and weโre going to give them one. We encourage all pro-growth, limited government conservatives seeking to challenge liberal Republicans and democrats to join us the morning of December 5th.
According to May, the school is aimed at โtrue conservatives who feel their current representation lacks fiscal fortitudeโ and will โprovide the best tactics for taking down entrenched incumbents.โ
The House Republican Caucus school, which has yet to be rescheduled, was charging $45 for attending the event. โOur event will be free,โ said May. โThere shouldnโt be a price tag for entry when trying to make South Carolina a better place to live, work, and raise a family.โ
The SC Club for Growth candidate and campaign seminar will be held in the Charleston area on December 5th.
The event is free but registration is required and available at www.scclubforgrowthcampaignschoolcharleston.eventbrite.com/. More information can be found on the SC Club for Growthโs website, http://www.scclubforgrowth.org/.
