MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are assisting a family whose home, located on Oakley Road in Moncks Corner, was damaged by a fire this morning.
The Moncks Corner Rural Fire Department responded to the blaze. The Red Cross is helping two adults by providing financial assistance for food, clothing, other essentials, and comfort kits containing personal hygiene items.
While spring may have sprung and the flowers are already in full bloom, spring showers can be accompanied by severe storms.
The American Red Cross Emergency App will alert you to severe weather and other Emergency Alert. You can use the app’s “I’m Safe” button to let loved ones know they are okay and find the location of Red Cross shelters.
