BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–A biker has died following a recent accident with an automobile, according to Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver.
The initial accident occurred on March 7, 2019, at approximately 4:49 p.m at US 17-A and the I-26 overpass in Summerville.
The victim riding the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital for a trauma-related treatment.
The victim was eventually pronounced dead on March 25,
Oliver stated that the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
The victim of the motorcycle vs. automobile collision was identified as David Walter McDowell, 56, of Summerville.
