Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held for New Moncks Corner Fire Station at Foxbank

MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Foxbank Plantation just became a safer place to live.

On Wednesday, municipal, county leaders and first responders gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the brand new Moncks Corner Fire Station at Foxbank.

“This is the culmination of years of planning and partnership to bring expanded coverage to Moncks Corner,” town leaders posted on their official Facebook page.

This is the second fire station for the Town of Moncks Corner.

The new fire station has two ladder trucks, an ambulance and will serve as a police substation. The station will be manned 24/7 by five firefighters.

The price tag to build the new station was $1.8 million.

The fire station is located at 203 Foxbank Plantation Blvd in Moncks Corner – next to Foxbank Elementary School.
