Coroner: Motorcyclist Killed on Highway 41

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A motorcyclist has died following a fatal collision on Highway 41, according to Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver.

Around 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Oliver says his office responded to a motorcycle versus truck collision near Clemments Ferry Rd.

Oliver stated that the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was not wearing a helmet, the coroner stated.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is currently investigating the accident.  

The coroner’s office is not releasing the identity of the motorcyclist at this time.
