BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A body found in Ridgeville near the interstate is being investigated as a homicide, according to Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver.
Oliver said the body was found Friday morning on Cypress Campground Road in the Ridgeville area.
The victim, 27-year-old Dominique Harper, of Summerville was spotted off the roadway near I-26, the coroner said.
The coroner did not say the manner in which Harper died.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the Summerville Police Department and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.
