BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman who died recently in a crash on Interstate 26.
On Saturday, 2024, Coroner Darnell Hartwell said his office was contacted by a local hospital regarding the death of a patient who was involved in a traffic accident on February 22nd, 2024 on I-26 near mile marker 194.
The victim has been positively identified as Stacy L. Lantz, 52, of Moncks Corner. She died from injuries sustained in that accident.
This death is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
