Site plans approved for proposed Moncks Corner Chick-Fil-A

MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Construction of the very first Moncks Corner Chick-Fil-A is inching closer to reality.

After careful review, the townโ€™s planner, Alison Simmons, recently approved the site plans for the new restaurant.

Simmons notified the Charleston engineering firm, G. Robert George & Associate, Inc., of the news in a letter Friday.

They submitted the plans for the town to review on October 9th.

According to Simmons, the restaurantโ€™s construction plans that were submitted to the townโ€™s department of planning and development on September 15th are still under review.

The proposed Chick-Fil-A will be located at 601 North U.S. Highway 52 near the Walmart Supercenter.

Currently, there are two other Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Berkeley County. One is located on St. James Avenue in Goose Creek and the other on Main Street in Summerville.
