BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of thefts at Prime Storage in Summerville, where deputies say they’ve recovered a large amount of stolen property believed to belong to customers.

The storage facility, located at 2248 North Main Street in Summerville, has been the focus of an ongoing investigation in recent weeks. Officials say the items recovered appear to have been taken from multiple storage units.

Sheriff Duane Lewis urged customers who have rented space at the facility in the past 18 months to check their units as soon as possible.
