BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County deputies arrested an Orangeburg man Tuesday after responding to a suspicious vehicle call that led to the discovery of trafficking-level quantities of fentanyl, oxycodone, and cocaine base, according to Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis.
Anthony Jamison, 51, was found asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on Tallow Court in the Cypress Ridge neighborhood. Deputies initiated a probable cause search and uncovered a significant cache of narcotics, including:
- Approximately 391 pink M10 pressed pills, which field-tested presumptive for fentanyl
- Approximately 172 green M15 pressed pills, identified as oxycodone
- Approximately 4.97 grams of cocaine base

Jamison was arrested and charged with Trafficking Fentanyl (four grams or more), Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine Base, and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Scheduled Narcotic.

The investigation is ongoing and being handled by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force, which includes detectives from BCSO, Goose Creek Police Department, Hanahan Police Department, and Moncks Corner Police Department.
