Deputies say the case began Feb. 2 when they received a call from a medical facility about a patient being treated for injuries stemming from an assault. Authorities reported the victim suffered serious trauma, including bruising around her neck and two swollen eyes.

Investigators determined Tucker was responsible for the attack, according to the sheriffโs office.
As the investigation progressed, detectives learned Tucker was continuing to threaten the victim and had also made threats toward law enforcement. Warrants were drafted, and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was notified to assist in locating him.
Deputies conducted surveillance and ultimately took Tucker into custody without incident.
He is currently being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center as the case moves forward.
