MONCKS CORNER, S.C. โ€” A popular Georgetown sushi restaurant is preparing to expand into Berkeley County, with plans to open a second location in Moncks Corner.

Rollin Local announced the news in a recent social media post, saying the restaurant is excited to bring its Asian-inspired menu to the growing Lowcountry community.

โ€œWeโ€™re so excited to announce that our second Rollin Local is coming to Moncks Corner, South Carolina,โ€ the restaurant wrote online. โ€œWe canโ€™t wait to serve this amazing community, share some of our favorite rolls, and meet so many new faces. The announcement quickly generated excitement online, with customers sharing their enthusiasm about the expansion.

Rollin Local first opened in 2017 at 732 Front St. in Georgetown. The restaurant was founded by Jamie Wirth Finley and has built a reputation for its sushi rolls, hibachi plates and Asian-inspired dishes.
