Berkeley Co. deputies investigate fatal shooting at Goose Creek apartment

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on Friday around 9:34 p.m., Cordell Frazier, 24, of Goose Creek was shot outside his apartment on Greenmeadow Drive.

Salisbury says he was transported by EMS to Trident Hospital where he was eventually pronounced dead.

An autopsy will be conducted and more information will then be available, the coroner added.

The death is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.

This is the second homicide in the last several days in Berkeley County.
