Mrs. Georgia Ann Owens Huff, 70, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Monday evening at a local hospital.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 W. Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (843)761-8027 to assist with her funeral expenses.

Mrs. Huff was born December 3, 1951, in Columbia, SC, a daughter of Fred Owens and Willie Mae Wenningham Owens. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Huff enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and her three dogs, JoJo, Coco, and Bella. In her earlier years, she frequented Folly Beach with her family, and she loved going on adventures and traveling with her late husband. Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her brother, Joey Owens, and she was the widow of Edward Wayne Huff.

Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Gerkens and her fiancé’, Tommy Roth, of Moncks Corner; her stepsister, Patricia Williams of Georgia; and three grandchildren, Thomas Roth, Jr., Jessica Roth and her fiancé, Harley Roberts, and David Lee Roth.
