Obituaries

Katie Scarlette Clark, 20, of Summerville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

Katie was born on December 21, 2002, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Mary Bauer Clark and Jason C. Clark. She was a 2021 graduate of Cane Bay High School. Katie always loved animals and was an advocate for animals her entire life. She was awarded an internship at the SC Aquarium in 2020. Katie loved music and taught herself to play multiple instruments.

Surviving are her parents and stepfather Matt Cornelius, Summerville; sister, Bailey Paige Clark , Summerville; Grandparents, Mary L Higgenbottom, North Charleston, Hozea and Dorita Clark, Dorchester; an Aunt , Peggy Conkel, North Charleston, and her Godmother, Cindy Wichman, North Charleston.
