Obituaries

Ron was born in Miltonvale Kansas and was the son of the late Earl and Alice Fosdick. He attended Miltonvale schools and graduated from Miltonvale High School in 1951.

Ron then joined the Navy and after basic training he was sent on an Ammunition Runner Ship to join the war in Korea.

He served in Korean War from 1952 to 1954. On October 11, 1954 he married his high school sweetheart Wanda Lister from Miltonvale. Ron served 20 years in the Navy and was Chief E8 on his retirement. He then went on to work at the Charleston Missile plant at POMFLANT for another 20 years.

Upon leaving the Missile plant, he opened his own business in Storm Windows and Home Repairs and later moved to Angel’s Landing to work in a Camp Ground Maintenance role with his friend and owner Al Jones.

Funeral Service will be Friday September 9, 2022 at 6pm at Smyrna Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Bill Masciangelo. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Agape Hospice Retirement Home at 374 Myers Road, Summerville SC 29486.
