HUGER, S.C.—Shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday, rescue crews responded to an accident near Highway 41 and 
Charity Church Road.
According to crew members, three vehicles were involved in the wreck. They say the accident happened when one of the vehicles sideswiped another, causing it to spin out of control and hit another vehicle in oncoming traffic.
The driver and child in the white car pictured were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The condition of the other parties involved at this time is unknown.
