BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Berkeley Co. deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after midnight at 316 Tish Lane.
According to Berkeley Co. Coroner Bill Salisbury, one person was killed in the shooting. Salisbury says 19-year-old Ariel Morgan of Moncks Corner died at MUSC in Charleston at 2:45 a.m.
An autopsy will be conducted today and more information will be released shortly on the shooting itself.
The death is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office says four others were shot following a block party in the Long Ridge community of Berkeley County.
