Registration Underway For Goose Creek Pickleball Tournament

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Registration is underway for the 2016 Goose Creek Pickleball Challenge, set for Nov. 10 and 11 at the Goose Creek Community Center. The double-elimination tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on both days, with check-in at 8:30 a.m.

The Goose Creek Recreation event will include men’s, women’s and mixed doubles in beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.

The unique sport of Pickleball is played indoors, and is a combination of tennis and badminton. Everyone is welcome to participate in the tournament, which costs $10 for residents of Goose Creek and $12 for non-residents.
