BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Berkeley County School District (BCSD) classes are canceled and offices are closed Monday, October 10 due to weather and road conditions resulting from the impact of Hurricane Matthew.
Essential personnel including district and school administrators, maintenance and facilities, technology, school custodians, transportation supervisors, and child nutrition managers will report Monday to assess damage and prepare for the return of staff and students.
Additionally, all extracurricular activities and sporting events remain canceled and information concerning rescheduling will be released when it becomes available.
