BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–With freezing temperatures expected this week, Berkeley County Emergency Preparedness Department has announced warming shelter locations.
- Fresh Anointing Ministries, located at 551 Myers Road in Summerville, will serve as a warming center Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
- Goose Creek UMC, located at 142 Redbank Road in Goose Creek, will serve as a warming center Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Ridge Baptist Church of Summerville will also serve as a warming center Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
- Ridge Baptist Church of Summerville will serve as a warming center Thursday, January 4, 2018, and Friday, January 5, 2018.
All warming center locations will be open from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. and will provide hot meals for dinner, beds for the evening and breakfast in the morning.
