Bravo has released the trailer for its much anticipated reality show called Southern Charm.

Filmed in The Holy City, one of the driving messages behind the show is that Charleston is apparently “the playground for men who never want to grow up.”

Rest assure, this show will surely set the example of how classy southern men and women behave in the beautiful lowcountry. (Yes, we are being sarcastic.)

If anything, the promo for the show actually reveals quite the opposite.

Southern Charm stars at least one familiar face, disgraced-politician Thomas Ravenel Jr. You may remember that Ravenel was once state treasurer for the Palmetto State. He went on to spend nearly a year in federal prison in 2008 for using cocaine.

“I like this dress so much just take it off,” laughs Ravenel in the trailer while talking to a young woman who doesn’t seem amused by the remark.

The businessman currently operates Ravenel Development Corporation in Charleston.

Ravenel is single with no children; however, the trailer for the show seems to indicate that children could soon be in his future.

“You should have a paternity test,” says a doctor to Ravenel in the promo.

According to Bravo, the series Southern Charm goes behind the walls of Charleston, South Carolina’s most aristocratic families to reveal a world of exclusivity, money and scandal that goes back generations.

The drama-filled show follows six singles—Ravenel being one of them. However, it is important to note that while this reality show aims to give a glimpse into the southern life of the “well established” living in The Holy City—at least half of the show’s “stars” are not actually from Charleston.

Southern Charm airs March 3 on Bravo at 10/9 central.
