On Friday, Trident Technical College hosted a breakfast reception and tour of its new 90,000-square-foot Nursing and Science Building, showcasing the high-tech, energy efficient building.
The new building is located on the college’s Main Campus in North Charleston.
Teddie Pryor, chairman of the Charleston County Council, told The Post & Courier recently that Berkeley County contributed $7.5 million to the new building.
Almost 25 years ago to the day, on March 13, 1989, the college held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Health Sciences Building (Bldg. 630). The $6 million, 54,440-square-foot building opened in 1990.
