MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – American Red Cross volunteers assisted a family whose home sustained major fire damage Sunday afternoon.
According to Red Cross volunteers, the family of six, five adults and one child, received financial assistance for a temporary place to live, food, clothing and comfort kits, containing personal hygiene items and referrals to assist with the families long term recovery needs.
Since the beginning of this year, Palmetto South Carolina Region of the American Red Cross has assisted more than 1,300 individuals affected by disaster.
