SUMMERVILLE, SC – According to officials, there is presently a person of interest who has threatened to harm himself in the wooded area behind 1496 State Road in Summerville.
This person of interest is said to be a white male, mid 30’s last seen wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.
Authorities say he is considered armed and dangerous.
A perimeter has been set around Ward Lane, Irby Drive, McLaurin Avenue and State Road by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone in the vicinity should lock all doors, not open doors for anyone, stay housed in place.
Drivers in the area should not pick up or give rides to any stranger.
Report any suspicious person or activities to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
