GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Goose Creek Police Department has reactivated its Facebook page!
The police department originally established its “Goose Creek Police Department” fan page in May 2010.
In November 2010, the page was deactivated so that all City of Goose Creek social media would be centralized through the its main Facebook fan page.
We are excited at the prospect of engaging our citizens on Facebook! With new graphics and a committed presence, our desire is to more closely connect with the Facebook community and thus establish and cultivate trust-based relationships with the citizens we serve.
We believe our sharing and receipt of information on public safety concerns will be more timely and thus have a greater effect on our crime prevention and investigatory efforts.
Citizens that “like” our page can expect regular updates on matters of public safety interest as well as periodic events and happenings involving the police department.
Questions and comments are welcomed and we will make every effort to respond in a timely manner. The code of conduct on the police department page mirrors the city’s main page.
We hope our citizens will “like” the Goose Creek Police Department on Facebook and share in the safety and security of Goose Creek.
