The Brian Adams for Sheriff Campaign is proud to announce two more big time endorsement going into the runoff election.

State Senator Paul Thurmond and State Representative Peter McCoy have announced their support, and both have been instrumental behind the scenes over the course of the campaign.

State Senator Paul Thurmond stated, “I have known my good friend Brian Adams for many years. Brian is a strong and respected leader, a man of character and integrity. With great pleasure, I hereby endorse my good friend Brian Adams as the next great sheriff of Berkeley County.”

“I’m proud and honored to endorse my great friend Brian Adams for Berkeley County Sheriff. I have known Brian for over ten years through our work with law enforcement.  When I was an assistant solicitor, Brian and I worked together to prosecute countless criminals, protect our neighbors and families, while providing comfort to those who were victims to crimes. Brian is dependable, carries himself with absolute integrity, and takes pride in his work as a police officer. The most important quality that really hits home to me about Brian is that he puts his family first. Like myself, Brian is a husband and a father and that is job number one. His family is his backbone and his dedication at home is what will translate directly to him being an incredible sheriff. Brian will be a sheriff that will make the people of Berkeley County proud,” stated Peter McCoy.
