Berkeley Co. Deputies: Man Flees Scene, Mobile Meth Lab Discovered On Moped

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.โ€”Berkeley County sheriffโ€™s deputies say they are actively looking for a man accused of manufacturing methamphetamine.

According to Berkeley Co. Spokesperson Michael Mule, deputies are looking for 36-year-old Jamey Koon of Summerville.

Deputies say he fled on foot after they initially stopped himย for a traffic violation along St. James Avenue in Goose Creek. Koon was on his moped at the time of the stop.

After showing officers his driverโ€™s license, he reportedly fled on foot.

Mule says thatโ€™s when officers located the mobile meth lab.
