BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to multiple vehicle break-ins the Pinopolis area on Monday night.
Deputies say several items were stolen from a number of vehicles.
Officers made four arrests after they say the suspects had the stolen items with them and inside their own vehicles.
“Often, when these crimes happen, there are multiple victims but the victims do not report it. If you live in this area, please check your vehicle and your property to see if there is anything is missing,” read a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office. “We have recovered property.”
Deputies are asking the public that if your vehicle was broken into Monday night, contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 719-4412.
“As a reminder, please secure your vehicles and keep valuables out of sight,” the post continued.
