BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to BCSD officials, A Berkeley County School District bus transporting students to Berkeley Intermediate and Berkeley Elementary was involved in an accident Thursday morning.
BCSD Spokesperson Katie Orvin stated that there were no serious injuries to report at this time.
The school bus was crossing Rembert Dennis Boulevard onto Stony Landing Road when a truck ran a red light and collided with the BCSD school bus.
Every student and the bus driver involved in the accident were checked out at local hospitals, with no serious injuries reported.
Approximately 15 students were involved in the accident.
