Berkeley County Deputies Arrest Summerville Man on Ten Counts of Child Pornography

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has announced the arrest of Eric Kevin Moore II of Summerville on ten charges connected to sexual exploitation of minors.

According to Wilson, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, made the arrest. The Hanahan Police Department also assisted with the investigation.

Investigators stated that Moore was involved in downloading child pornography via file sharing.

If convicted, he could face up to ten years imprisonment, authorities stated.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney General Wilson stressed that Moore is presumed innocent unless and until he is proven guilty in a court of law.
