A&R Bulk-Pak, Inc. Establishing $7.5 Million Berkeley County Facility, Creating 25 Jobs

A&RBERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–A&R Bulk-Pak, Inc., a contract packaging company specializing in the packaging and distribution of plastics for overseas export, is establishing operations in Berkeley County.

In an effort to better serve its expanding customer base and handle the coming plastics production surge from the Gulf Coast, the 30-year company is investing in the construction of a $7.5 million state-of-the-art packaging and distribution facility, which will create 25 new jobs in Moncks Corner, S.C.

To house its operations, a new 240,000-square-foot facility on 27.5 acres will be built in three phases. Rail storage capacity for more than 100 railcars will be featured on site. The new location will be the first packaging facility to open its doors in the Southeast, with the specific purpose of receiving Gulf Coast originating plastic resin earmarked for export.

In welcoming A&R Bulk-Pak to Berkeley County, County Supervisor Bill Peagler said, “Having such an established and growing company as A&R Bulk-Pak select Berkeley County for its new location is further proof that Berkeley County is open for business and Berkeley County means business. A&R Bulk-Pak, Inc. is a family owned and operated company which has serviced the plastic and grain industries from its New Jersey headquarters since 1985. The company offers packaging, bulk transfer, warehousing and logistics services to producers and traders who require highly responsive service and attention to detail, uncommon in the packaging industry.
