GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–GCPD investigators say they have identified the suspect responsible for the Christmas Day burglary of the residence at 105 Iris St. that was caught on the home’s video surveillance system.
According to police, the female suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Jennifer Capps. Her address is unknown.
Authorities say a warrant has been issued for Capps’ arrest on the charge of Burglary 1st Degree.
According to the police report, shortly after Christmas officers met with a couple in the Pineview subdivision who reporedt that their home had been burglarized.
They say a thief, now believed to be Capps, broke into their home and stole a black Acer laptop, Nintendo DS 3D, a Dewalt Lithium ION 20v drill set and shopping bag that contained a Carolina t-
shirt and coozie.
After a brief time inside the house, the suspect reportedly exited the house with what appeared to be two bags.
At this time, police are still actively looking for Capps.
