GOOSE CREEK. S.C.–According to Goose Creek police, the suspect caught on a surveillance camera stealing from a home on Iris Street was taken into custody on Tuesday.

Jennifer Capps, 33, was transported to the Berkeley County Detention Center where she was served with an arrest warrant on the charge of Burglary 1st Degree.

According to the police report, shortly after Christmas officers met with a couple in the Pineview subdivision who reported that their home had been burglarized.

They say a thief, believed to be Capps, broke into their home and stole a black Acer laptop, Nintendo DS 3D, a Dewalt Lithium ION 20v drill set and shopping bag that contained a Carolina t-shirt and coozie.

After a brief time inside the house, Capps reportedly exited the house with what appeared to be two bags.
