BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to the National Weather Service, parts of the lowcountry, including Berkeley County, could see some snow flurries Sunday.
Rain could mix with or perhaps change to a period of wet snow on early Sunday morning before turning to all rain after 11 a.m., the NWS reports.
“There is a chance that wet snow could briefly accumulate on bridges, overpasses and tree branches,” weather officials stated.
You’ll want to keep those blankets, coats and heaters handy. Forecasters are predicting Sunday’s weather to reach a high of only 46 degrees and breezy with a north wind of 17 to 21 mph.
Sunday’s low will be 38 degrees and a chance of precipitation is 90 percent, the NWS reports.
On January 23rd, some Berkeley County residents reported snow flurries in the area, however, it wasn’t enough accumulation to stick or last very long.
