MONCKS CORNER, S.C.—According to homeowners living in Cypress Ridge, pranksters have made a “clean getaway” once again.

On Sunday, Kiley White says someone intentionally dumped soap inside the fountain centrally located inside her community’s subdivision.

“It looked as though multiple bottles of soap was poured in,” stated White. “I’m very angry because we as homeowners are the ones who have to pay for the fountain and its upkeep.”

White says this is not the first time the fountain has been vandalized. It’s actually the second. On December 26th, 2015 she says someone got the bright idea to dump soap into the fountain for the first time.

“The first time it happened my husband, three neighbors and myself took immediate action and cleaned the fountain ourselves,” she said.

Recently, Aqua Blue Pools was notified and took care of the second incident.

So far, homeowners say they aren’t sure who has repeatedly messed with her community’s fountain or even if it’s the same person.

“Obviously, whoever it is, they need to grow up,” she stated.

Homeowners, like White, are hoping that whoever is responsible for the not-so-funny prank will ultimately “get a life.”

“My message to this person is to stay out of our neighborhood. We take pride in our community and want to keep it beautiful,” she stated. “If the person is lives in our community, they need to learn to respect what little we do have in our community. We are attempting to have nice things and would like to keep it that way.”
