Reward Increased to $11,000 in Ariel Morgan Murder Case

ariel morganBERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriffโ€™s Office and Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry announced that the reward in the Ariel Morgan shooting incident has increased to $10,000, with an additional $1,000 being donated by an anonymous private donor.

Violence broke out during a block party on the evening of June 7th, 2014 in the Moncks Corner area of Berkeley County. Multiple shots were fired among a crowd of hundreds of attendees.

As a result, 19 year old Ariel Morgan, who was an innocent bystander at the party, was shot and fatally wounded. Miss Morgan was cut down in the prime of life.

Berkeley County Sheriffโ€™s Office detectives have worked countless hours on this case but no one has yet to come forward with information sufficient to seek prosecution.

Detectives are asking for the publicโ€™s cooperation to help bring closure to the case and comfort to Miss Morganโ€™s family.

Anyone who may have been at the party or may be privy to โ€œstreet talkโ€ which might help the detectives solve this case is asked to call
