Reward Increased to $11,000 in Ariel Morgan Murder Case

ariel morganBERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry announced that the reward in the Ariel Morgan shooting incident has increased to $10,000, with an additional $1,000 being donated by an anonymous private donor.

Violence broke out during a block party on the evening of June 7th, 2014 in the Moncks Corner area of Berkeley County. Multiple shots were fired among a crowd of hundreds of attendees.

As a result, 19 year old Ariel Morgan, who was an innocent bystander at the party, was shot and fatally wounded. Miss Morgan was cut down in the prime of life.

Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office detectives have worked countless hours on this case but no one has yet to come forward with information sufficient to seek prosecution.

Detectives are asking for the public’s cooperation to help bring closure to the case and comfort to Miss Morgan’s family.

Anyone who may have been at the party or may be privy to “street talk” which might help the detectives solve this case is asked to call
