BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Sangaree Middle School, located at 1050 Discovery Lane, Ladson, will host its 2016 Sangaree Sombrero 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 7, 2016, beginning at 8 a.m. All proceeds will be used to support the school.
Individuals interested in participating can register online at www.racemine.com. Registration is $25 for adult participants and $15 for children 13 years old and younger. After Saturday, April 27, 2016, registration for adults will be $30 for adults.
Race packets can be picked up at the school on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the school gym. The race will begin and end at the school and parking will be available there as well.
Sponsors for the Sombrero Run include the YMCA-Berkeley, Sovereign Grace Church and Wal-Mart.
