BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–WJNI-FM and Berkeley Electric Co-op are currently holding drawings for free 5,000 BTU air conditioning units. The promotion will run through September 23.
People interested in taking part in the drawings will need to register at the site of the promotion each Friday from 11 a.m. until noon, at which time the names will be drawn.
Winners can leave with their new AC unit or if a winner is not able to stay for that week’s drawing, they will be notified and arrangements will be made to pick up their new unit.
There is nothing to purchase. Promotional spots will be run throughout each week on WJNI-FM. Representatives from the station will be on hand to register contestants.
The following is the list of sites where registration for each week will take place:
- July 15 – BEC Moncks Corner office, 551 Rembert Dennis Boulevard
- July 22 – BEC Goose Creek office, 2 Springhall Drive July 29 – BEC Moncks Corner office August 5 – BEC John’s Island office August 12- Stokes Volkswagon, 3491 Ashley Phosphate Road, N. Charleston
- August 19 – BEC Goose Creek office August 26 – BEC Moncks Corner office September 2 – Stokes Volkswagon September 9 – BEC John’s Island office
- September 16 – BEC Goose Creek office September 23 – Stokes Volkswagon
