GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Mosquito spraying is underway in Goose Creek, and will include the entire city. The spraying, which will not begin before 10 p.m. nightly through Nov. 4, is being conducted by the Goose Creek Department of Public Works.
There are seven Mosquito Abatement Areas in the city (a list of the neighborhoods included in each area is below). The schedule for spraying is as follows:
- Area 5: completed Friday night (Oct. 28)
- Area 6: Monday night, Oct. 31
- Area 7: Tuesday night, Nov. 1
- Area 2: Wednesday night, Nov. 2
- Area 3: Thursday night, Nov. 3
- Area 1: Friday night, Nov. 4
- Area 4: Saturday night, Nov. 5
The neighborhoods and apartment complexes included in each Mosquito Abatement Area are below.
Area 1:
Lindy Creek, Nello Farms, Woodland Heights, Quail Hill, Boulder Bluff, Montague Pointe, Montague Plantation, St. Charles Place, Coker’s Commons, Coker’s Crossing I and II, Medway Landing, Royal Oaks, Hayden Hill, Hayden Hollow, Hayden Ponds, Sophia Landing, Woodland Lakes, Old Moncks Corner Road, Braemoor, Colonial Heights.
Area 2:
Fairfax, Indigo Place, Oak Creek, Longford Place, Greenwich Hall, Westminster Heights, Persimmon Hill, Marrington Villas/Cobblestone, St. Thomas Park.
Area 3:
