BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on Thursday around 5:15 p.m. Robin Vick, 61, of Goose Creek was traveling south on Highway 52 when her vehicle went off the right side of the roadway.
The coroner stated that her vehicle overturned and she was partial ejected.
Salisbury stated that she was pinned under the vehicle and was extricated by the Moncks Corner Fire Dept.
Vick was transported to Trident Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 6:27 p.m.
The accident is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Moncks Corner Police Dept.
The coroner stated that Vick was not wearing a seatbelt and her death was ruled accidental.
This was the thirty second traffic fatality in Berkeley County this year.
